Helideck lighting control unit designed to manage and monitor helicopter landing lighting systems with high reliability and precision. Suitable for offshore and onshore helidecks requiring integrated control of LED helideck lighting and navigation aids. Engineered in accordance with ICAO Annex 14 requirements for safe and compliant helicopter operations.
Details
The controller is programmed to allow the beacon light to be dimmed in three selectable levels: 3%, 10%, or 100% brightness. This functionality helps prevent dazzling the pilot during the final stages of approach and landing.
In situations where the heliport beacon may still cause glare at close range, the beacon can be switched off entirely during the final approach by operating the controller.
