Details
The Q-PAPI System consists of four lighting units designed to provide a visual indication of the correct approach path for aircraft. Each unit includes a battery box with a built-in charger and is rechargeable via a mains connection.
A complete set of four PAPI units is supplied with a rechargeable remote control.
In compliance with ICAO Annex 14 requirements, the Q-PAPI System is installed adjacent to the runway, typically as a linear array of four lights. Each unit is connected to its battery box via a CEE/IEC 60309-compatible power connector.
