Q-HAPI System
Helideck approach path indicator system designed to provide clear visual guidance for helicopter landing operations in offshore and onshore environments. The system supports safe approach alignment and improves pilot situational awareness on certified helidecks. Developed in accordance with ICAO Annex 14 helideck lighting requirements.
Details
The HAPI system consists of a single light unit designed to provide pilots with a clear visual indication of the correct glide slope during helicopter approach.
In compliance with ICAO requirements, the HAPI System is located adjacent to the nominal aiming point and aligned with the preferred approach directions.
The angle of elevation is easily adjustable via a built-in monitoring system that displays the current angle in real-time, simplifying installation and calibration.
The Q-HAPI System is below 25 cm and it is therefore approved for all helidecks installations, forming no obstruction for the helicopter. Each flight approach path is required to have a HAPI system.
